Homer F. Eash

Homer F. Eash, 44, of Shipshewana, died at 4:20 pm on Friday, August 23,
2013 at his residence. He had been in declining health since suffering a
stroke in October 2012. He was born on August 22, 1969 in Lagrange to
Freeman D. and Wanetia Katie (Miller) Eash.  On July 14, 2012 at his
residence he married Rose A. Fry, she survives. Survivors in addition to
his wife is a son - Timothy (Elisa) Yoder of Middlebury; two sisters - Kathy
(Daniel) Hochstetler of Shipshewana and Loretta Johnson of Mishawaka;
four brothers - Wilbur Lee Eash of Holland, MI, Jerry (Mary) Eash of
Ligonier, Orla (Elma) Eash of Lagrange, Lloyd (Lorraine) Eash of
Shipshewana. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister,
Mary Alice Eash. He was the owner/operator of Homer’s Services
specializing in asphalt and trucking. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00
pm on Saturday August 24 and 1:00 pm-4:00 pm and 6:00 pm-8:00 pm
Sunday, August 25 at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main
Street Middlebury. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the 10:00
am funeral service on Monday August 26 at Shipshewana Church of the
Nazarene. Burial will be in Keightley Cemetery, Shipshewana. Memorials
may be given to Shipshewana Church of the Nazarene.

We are so sorry to hear about Homer. We feel blessed to have gotten to

I am so sorry that I missed the announcement of Homer’s passing.  He
was a great person and friend.  He will be dearly missed and I know that
he is in the hands of our beloved Father.
