William H. Fry

William H. Fry, 83, of Topeka, died at 10:40 am on Saturday, November 15, at
his residence. He had been in declining health. He was born on September 4,
1931 in Haven, KS. to Harvey D. and Elizabeth (Miller) Fry. On October 18,
1951 in Haven, KS he married Betsy W. Yoder, she died March 24, 2008. Then
on November 12, 2010 in Topeka he married Anna C. (Kurtz) Gingerich, she
survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Waneta (Leo)
Miller of LaGrange and Anna Mae Fry of Topeka; two sons, Elmer D. (Ruby)
Fry and Jerry W. (Lavera) Fry both of Topeka; five step-daughters, Pauline
(Ralph) Knepp of LaGrange, Fannie (Dannie) Schrock of Millersburg, Esther
(Perry) Yoder of Middlebury, Ruby (Merle) Schrock of Millersburg, Clara
(Ervin) Miller of Ligonier; three step-sons, Crist (Waneta) Gingerich of
Wawaka, Melvin Gingerich and Calvin (Royane) Gingerich both of
Shipshewana; 16 grandchildren, 40 step-grandchildren, 8 great-
grandchildren, 25 step great- grandchildren; two sisters, Eli (Polly) Raber of
Topeka and Anna (Willie) Miller of Ligonier; four brothers, Harley (Alice) Fry,
Ervin (Barbara) Fry, Felty (Katie) Fry, Perry (Rosanna) Fry all of Topeka. He
was preceded in death by his first wife, parents, two sons, Andrew D. and
William R. Fry, a step-son, Irvin Gingerich, a brother, Andy Fry, a
granddaughter and three step-grandchildren. He was a retired farmer and
member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 1:00 pm
Sunday, November 16, and all day Monday, November 17, at the family’s
residence, 6240 South State Road 5 Topeka. Funeral services will be at 9:30
am on Tuesday, November 18, also at the family’s residence.  Services will be
conducted by Bishop Wayne Miller and the home Ministers. Burial will be in
Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.

Sorry for your loss. Willy and I worked together at Starcraft in the early 70's.
