Virgil E. Lee
                               January 4, 1927 ~ January 1, 2017

Virgil Elwood Lee, 90, of Bristol, died at 9:45 pm, on Monday, January 1, at
East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation, Elkhart. He was born on January 4,
1927, in Woodburn to Philip S. and Elsie E. (Ash) Lee. On January 4, 1948 in
Wisconsin he married Barbara Rose Lewallen, she died August 11, 1992.
Surviving are a daughter, Pam (Tom) Webster of Indianapolis; son, Mike
(Becky) Lee of Middlebury; five grandchildren, Nathan (Yue) Webster,
Amanda Webster, Monica (Tyler) Kingdon, Erica (Alex) Brenneman, David
(Jen) Lee; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Deloris Torok of Lexington, KY. He
was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a daughter, Dixie Brown, a son,
David Jay Lee, four brothers, Kenneth, Owen, Cletus and Dale Lee. Virgil was
farmer and a self-employed painter, mainly in the RV industry. Visitation will
be from 12:30 to 1:30 pm on Friday January 5 at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home,
1003 South Main Street Middlebury. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm  
on Friday all  at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Pastors Ron
and Char Roth and Pastor Joseph Raber. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery,
Goshen. Memorials may be given to Bristol Fire Department.

was a great guy.

remember butchering hogs at their home on St. Rd.15.

I am so sorry of your loss of your dad. Pam, Tom Webster and family, Mike
Lee and family. Had a lot of good times with Virgil. He was like a big brother
 
to me. My brother Tom said it better than I am. Barb and him are together
again and watching over you all. May be with you all in this time of sorrow.

So sorry for your loss. I remember trips to Barb & Virgil's home in Goshen.  
Also their trips to all the family reunions in Wisconsin. We loved the 50th
wedding anniversary of Doris & Earl Lewallen. Indiana folks know how to
give a party. Also memories of all the Easter parties at the Wisconsin farm.
