I would like to say a little message about how I knew this wonderful man. I
met him through his great family and he used to invite me to his pool so we
can go swimming. We used to tease each other a lot and had fun doing it.
Those are the times I remember about him and will not be forgotten. R.I.P.

My sympathy to the family of Verlin.  He will be missed as I recall the smile he
always had and the warm friendship he always extended.  I'm sorry that I will
not be unable to extend this personally, as I will be assisting my own ailing
father out of state.  Please know that my heart and prayers are with you.

Dear Gloria and Family.  We will miss Verlin so much.  He was a thoughtful
and kind neighbor and so good to us during Charlie's heart problems.
Charlie will miss his good ole buddie but we knew he was suffering so we are
glad he is in a better place
