Thomas Albert Naylor
March 1, 1922 -- June 11, 2015
Thomas Albert Naylor, 93, of Bristol, died at 7:15 pm on Thursday, June 11 at Elkhart
Hospice House. He was born on March 1, 1922 in White Pigeon, MI, to Thomas J.
and Lucy (Sitts) Naylor. On December 31, 1951 in Angola he married Jeanne Miller;
she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are several nieces & nephews. He
was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ona Berry and three brothers, Ora,
Ogle and Ardon Naylor. Thomas was an avid gardener, a sports fan and liked
watching golf and football, especially Notre Dame. He worked for NIBCO for 35
years working as a supervisor for 28 years, retiring in 1987. He was an animal lover
and greatly enjoyed his many pets that have all passed, including three cats, Sam,
Sunshine and Greaty and four dogs, Ginger, Sandy, Buster and Patchy. Visitation
will be from 9:00 - 10:00 am on Tuesday June 16, followed by a 10:00 am funeral
service at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by
Elkhart Hospice Chaplain Marjorie Brayden. Burial will be in White Pigeon Township
Cemetery, White Pigeon. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane
Society of Elkhart County.
