Theophil  Muhling
Theophil  Muhling, 85, of Goshen, died at 12:42 pm on Monday, April 8, 2013
at IU Health Goshen Hospital, Goshen.  He was born on February 28, 1928 in
East Cleveland, OH, to Martin and Sophie (Roth) Muhling.  On May 4, 1957 in
Saline, MI. he married Byrnece A. Simonton, she died January 6, 2011; then
on July 7, 2012 he married Joan Sutter, she survives. Survivors in addition to
his wife are a daughter - Michelle (Juan) Centeno of Los Angeles, CA; a son -
Daniel (Sandra) Muhling of Lake Barrington, IL; four grandchildren; three
step-sons - Kenneth E. (Bev) Sutter of Clarksville, MI, Robert (Carol) Sutter of
Middlebury, James (Mary) Sutter of Clarksville, MI; eight step-grandchildren;
11 step-great grandchildren; a sister - Gabriella (Donald) Forrester of
Gainesville, FL; a brother - Emmanuel Muhling of Gainesville, FL. He was
preceded in death by his parents, step mother, Mildred Muhling and his first
wife. He had been a farmer and had worked in metal fabrication, working as a
tool and die machinist/engineer. He was a member of Roselawn Conservative
Mennonite Church, Middlebury. Visitation will be on Monday April 15 from
2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the 10:00 am funeral
service on Tuesday April 16 all at the Pleasant Grove Conservative Mennonite
Church, Millersburg. Services will be conducted by Bishop Randall
Riegsecker and Pastor Thad Lechlitner. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove
Cemetery, Millersburg. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the World
Missionary Press.
