Tammy Lynn Miller, 50, of South Bend, died at 8:16 am on Wednesday,
January 24, at her residence from an apparent cardiac arrest. She was born
on June 16, 1967 in Kokomo, to Travis and Nancy (Woodring) Quillen. On
January 25, 2016 in South Bend she married Levi Miller, he survives.
Survivors in addition to her husband are two daughters, Tammy Rubylynn
Stevens of Portage, Brooklyn Stevens of South Bend; four sons, Alan (Jerrie)
Middlebrook of Elkhart, Rickie (Anna) Stevens, Brandon Stevens and Justin
Stevens all of South Bend; two step daughters, Lois Elaine Swartzendruber
and Linda Irene Krey both of Elkhart; step son, Kennard (Lisa) Miller of South
Bend; 17 grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, one step great
grandchild; two sisters, Kimberly Quillen and Karen Quillen both of South
Bend; two brothers, Tommy Quillen of Brooklyn, MS, James Quillen of KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jason Quillen. She
was a homemaker and the secretary of the PTA at Emmons Elementary
School in Mishawaka. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Friday January
26, and for one hour prior to the 10:30 am funeral service on Saturday,
January 27, all at Griner Mennonite Church, Middlebury. Services will be
conducted by Pastor Robert Riegsecker. Burial will be in Griner Cemetery,
Middlebury. Memorials may be given to the children at Emmons Elementary
School, attention Principal Brad Addison, 1306 S. Main St., Mishawaka, IN
46544 or to Miller-Stewart Funeral Home to assist with expenses.

I am so sorry for your loss. Tammy was a caring friend and mother. She was
always willing to help at school when needed.She will be missed.
