November 2, 1921 -- January 29, 2015

Susan H. Yoder, 93, of Shipshewana, died at 12:00 am, on Thursday,
January 29, at her residence. She was born on November 2, 1921, in
LaGrange County, to Henry S. and Lydia Ann (Troyer) Frye. On April 4, 1946
in Topeka, she married Levi L. Yoder; he died August 17, 2006. Surviving
are four daughters, Vera (Melvin) Yoder of Middlebury, Inez (Daniel) Miller,
Lydia Yoder and Fannie Yoder all of Shipshewana; two sons, Herman
(Lydia) Yoder of Shipshewana, Richard (Marilyn) Yoder of Nappanee, 26
grandchildren, 84 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, five
step grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Miller of
Millersburg, Ella (Elmer) Wingard of Topeka; two brothers, Noah (Mary) Frye
of Middlebury, Sam Frye of Pensacola, FL; sister-in-law, Elsie Frye of
Shipshewana. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents,
grandson, Jason Yoder, one great grandson, three brothers, Calvin, Elva
and Joas Frye, two sisters, Katie Yoder and Lovina Frye. She was a
homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be
after 4:00 pm Thursday January 29, and all day Friday January 30, at the
family's residence, 1635 N. 1000 W. Shipshewana. Funeral services will be
at 9:30 am on Saturday January 31, also at the family's residence. Services
will be conducted by Bishop Sam Lambright and the home ministers. Burial
will be in the Harmon Yoder Cemetery, on the family farm.
