July 2, 1929 -- August 2, 2016

Sara L. Miller, 87, of Middlebury, died at 7:52 am, on Tuesday, August 2, at
her residence. She was born on July 2, 1929, in Conway Springs, KS, to
Levi and Gertie (Yoder) Yoder. On February 17, 1949 in Topeka, she married
Floyd J. Miller; he died February 20, 2008. Surviving are four daughters,
LouEtta (Devon) Slabaugh of Nappanee, Carolyn (Albert) Miller of
Middlebury, LaVerda (Mervin) Miller of Millersburg, Barbara Miller of
Middlebury; four sons, Larry (Eileen) Miller of Elkhart, Vernon (Rose) Miller
and Marlin (Sherry) Miller both of Nappanee, Dean (Patty) Miller of
Syracuse; 27 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren,
10 step-great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, two step great-great
grandchildren; two sisters, Mary ( Alvin) Miller of Goshen, Gertie (Orvil)
Christner of Wolcottville; three brothers, Alvin Yoder of Middlebury, Bill
Yoder of Goshen, Lee Yoder of Thailand; sister-in-law, Lillian Yoder of
Goshen. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents,
great-granddaughter, Michelle Miller, great-grandson, Jonathan Miller, three
sisters, Anna Troyer, Polly Mast and Edna Troyer, brother, Sam Yoder. She
was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation
will be after 2:00 pm on Wednesday August 3, and all day Thursday August
4, at the, Harvey Kauffman residence, 12437 CR 34, Goshen. Funeral
services will be at 9:30 am on Friday August 5, also at the Harvey Kauffman
residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Levi E.A. Bontrager, the
home ministers. Burial will be in Southeast Clinton Cemetery, Goshen.
