Condolences
Ruth Miller, 59, of Shipshewana, died at 12:25 am on
Wednesday, November 20, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital,
Sarasota, FL. after a brief illness. She was born on October 6,
1954 in LaGrange County, to Harvey V. and Clara (Miller)
Lambright. On May 10, 1973 in Elkhart County she married
Lloyd E. Miller, he died May 23, 1992.  On June 29, 1996 in
LaGrange County she married Nelson Lee Miller, he survives.
Survivors in addition to her husband are a daughter, Joann
(David Lee) Schlabach; three grandchildren, Kevin Nelson,
Kassandra Jane and Krissia Jean Schlabach; mother-in-law,
Sarah (Ervin) Miller of Middlebury; father-in-law, Harley Miller
of Shipshewana; four brothers, Floyd (Gloria) Lambright of
Canton, OH, Homer (Fannie) Lambright of Sarasota, FL, Glen
(Annie) Lambright of Topeka, John (Irma) Lambright of
Arcadia, FL; three sisters, Sara Etta (Sam) Brandenberger and
Betty (Sam) Schwartz both of Shipshewana, Kathy (Wilber)
Miller of Topeka; brother-in-law, Joe (Ida) Miller of Middlebury.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, a
daughter, Jane Renee Miller and a sister, Mary Edna
Lambright. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church
and had been a waitress at the Blue Gate Restaurant in
Shipshewana. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Saturday
November 23, and all day Sunday, November 24, at the David
Lee Schlabach residence, 1785 N. 675 W. Shipshewana.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Monday November 25,
at the Devon Hochstetler residence, 1840 N. 675 W.
Shipshewana. Services will be conducted by Bishop Vernon
Schlabach, Bishop Randall Riegsecker and the home
ministers. Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery,
Shipshewana.

Joann, We are all shocked by this news. Your mother was a
very special lady and so full of joy.  She shall be missed.  I am
so very sorry for you. You have lost so much in your short
life.  Prayers and love are being sent to you and your family.

Nelson, Joann and family, Thoughts and prayers are being

joy to chat with her and always had a smile on her face she is

Joann, Your Mom was an exceptional person. She always
encouraged Herb when she met him while he was going
