Ruth D. Miller
                                       June 24, 1927 -- April 25, 2014

Ruth D. Miller, 86, of Goshen, formerly of Middlebury, died at 8:50 pm, on
Friday, April 25, at Greencroft Health Care Center, Goshen, after a brief
illness. She was born on June 24, 1927, in Custer County, OK, to Menno
and Catherine (Schlabach) Yoder. She had lived most of her life in the
Middlebury-Goshen area and on October 23, 1952 in Goshen she married
Marvin J. Miller, Marvin died June 9, 2008. Surviving is a daughter,
Sandra (Douglas) Miller-Givan of Crawfordsville; four sons, Dallas Miller,
Nathan (Diane) Miller, Arnold Miller and Anthony (Jackie) Miller all of
Goshen; 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two sisters, Ida
Riddle and Margaret "Peg" (Francis) Miller both of Goshen. She was
preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, Alta Whybrew,
Sarah Whybrew and Barbara Kauffman and a brother, Ezra Yoder. Ruth
was a former member of Pleasant Oaks Mennonite Church in Middlebury
and most recently a member of Waterford Mennonite Church, Goshen.  
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed making
cards to give to family and friends.  She had worked in the restaurant at
the Patchwork Quilt and at Greencroft in the assistant living building.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday April 28, at the Meeting
House at Greencroft, Goshen. There will also be visitation from 9:00-
10:00 am on Tuesday April 29, followed by a 10:00 am funeral service at
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. Burial will be in Clinton Union
Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to the Crohn's & Colitis
Foundation of America.

Sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother/grandmother.  She was one
of my favorite cousins.

I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother. I have many
memories of her as I was growing up at Walnut Hill Mennonite Church.
She wil be missed, but what a blessing that she will be with Marvin again.
