Roswell L. Shell
                           December 25, 1923 -- October 25, 2018

Roswell LaVon Shell, 94, of Topeka, died at 11:45 pm, on Thursday,
October 25, at his residence. He was born on December 25, 1923, in
Wolcottville, to Jacob and Lula (Baker) Shell. On November 28, 1965 in
Topeka he married Lena Yoder; she died September 12, 2000. Surviving
are son, Timothy Shell of Topeka; four grandchildren, Cheryl Renae
Shell, Eric LaVon Shell, Gary Gene Shell, and Joshua Shawn Shell all of
Huntington; daughter-in-law, Elsie Shell of Huntington; sister, Gloria
(Wayne) Marks of Elkhart; brother, Adrian (Nina) Shell of Niles, MI. He
was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two brothers, Jacob O'Neil
and Robert Shell; two grandchildren, Lily JoElla and Austin Jace Shell.
Roswell was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He was a  
factory worker for many years and also owned and operated Shell's
Country Store in Topeka. Visitation will be after 3:00 pm on Saturday,
October 27 and all day Sunday, October 28 at the Daniel Ray Yoder
residence, 6125 W. 800 S., Topeka. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am
on Monday, October 29 also at the residence. Services will be
conducted by Bishop Mark Kramer and the home ministers. Burial will
be in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
