Perry J. Raber
                                  January 3, 1941 -- March 10, 2014

Perry J. Raber, 73, of LaGrange, died at 4:00 am on Monday, March 10, at his
residence. He was born on January 3, 1941 in, LaGrange County, to Jacob
and Mattie (Petersheim) Raber. On January 7, 1965 in LaGrange he married
Lizzie Ann Miller, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are a
daughter, Vera (Elva) Bontrager of LaGrange; son, Truman (Amanda) Raber
of Fredericksburg, OH; seven grandchildren; seven sisters, his twin-Clara
(Melvin) Kuhns of Portage, WI, Lydia Kuhns of Nappanee, Katie (Levi)
Hochstetler of LaGrange, Esther (Edward) Schmucker of Montello, WI, Wilma
Schrock of Topeka, Mattie (Levi) Miller of Middlebury, Anna (David)
Bontrager of LaGrange; a brother, Eli (Polly) Raber of Topeka;
brother-in-law, LeRoy (Irene) Mullett of Stella, MO. He was preceded in death
by his parents, a son, Eli Raber, one grandchild, sister, Lizzie Ann Mullett,
two brothers-in-law, Perry Schrock and Omar Kuhns. He was a member of
the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Tuesday
March 11, and all day Wednesday, March 12, at the family's residence, 1530
W. 450 S. LaGrange. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Thursday March
13, at the Mervin Whetstone residence, 3970 S. 00EW, LaGrange. Services
will be conducted by Senior Bishop Ervin Lehman and the home ministers.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, LaGrange.

I wish I could have seen and known Perry and his family these past 50 years.
Its been right about that long since I have seen him, when we were
teenagers. I pray God's love will comfort his family during this time.
