Ora L. Miller
                                          August 8, 1938 -- December 4, 2018

Ora L. Miller, 80, of Topeka, died at 4:20 am on Tuesday, December 4 at his
residence. He was born on August 8, 1938, in Topeka, to Levi and Lydiann (Miller)
Miller. On December 4, 1958, in LaGrange County, he married Ella Neomah Lehman;
she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are eight daughters, Linda (Lavern)
Bontrager, Ruby (Kenny) Slabach both of Shipshewana, Darla (Gerald) Yoder of
Goshen, Ida (Glen) Miller of Shipshewana, Polly (David) Miller of Topeka, Mary
(Marlin) Yoder, Dorothy (Steve) Raber both of Shipshewana, Ruth (Wade) Otto of
Topeka; son, David (Dolores) Miller of Shipshewana; son-in-law, Amzie (Freeda)
Lehman of LaGrange; 48 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Susie
(Daniel) Bontrager of Topeka, Lizzie (Ray) Hershberger of Goshen. He was
preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Elsie Lehman; son, Nelson Miller; three
grandsons, Myron, Steven, and Marlin Miller; granddaughter, Bethany Miller;
daughter-in-law, Joni Hamaker; brother, Perry Miller; two sisters, Nettie Schrock and
Sarah Miller and an infant sister; two brothers-in-law, Jacob Schrock and Daniel
Bontrager. He was a carpenter and owner of O & E Construction for many years. He
was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 1:00 pm on
Wednesday, December 5 and all day Thursday, December 6 at the family residence,
4385 W. 300 South, Topeka. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Friday, December
7 at the Daniel Fry residence, 4460 W. 300 South, Topeka. Services will be
conducted by Bishop Chris Lambright, Jr. and the home ministers. Burial will be in
Miller Cemetery, LaGrange.

Dear Ella and family. I'm so sorry for your loss. Orrie was such a good man and
hard worker. He loved his family!! I will always remember that smile, chuckle,  
and deep voice. He will be missed, but we rejoice for him.
