Obie "Bud" C. Miller
                                June 22, 1931 -- March 5, 2018

Obie "Bud" C. Miller, 86, of Goshen, went to be with his Lord and Savior
at 11:15 am on Monday, March 5, at the Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
He was born on June 22, 1931 in LaGrange County, to Chris and Abbie
(Lehman) Miller. On December 29, 1951 in Constantine, MI he married G.
Joan Wright; she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are three
daughters, Kathy (Gary) Kirklin of Muncie, Connie (Rick) Campbell of
Goshen, Sally (Ernest "Barney") Miller of Topeka; son, Douglas (Linda)
Miller of Boerne, TX; nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, one
step granddaughter, five step great grandchildren, one expected great
grandchild; four sisters, Wilma Mast and Mary Ellen (David) Beachy both
of Goshen, Esther (Emanuel) Miller of Halfway, MO, LeAnna (Marion)
Kauffman of Middlebury; brother, John Miller of Goshen. He was
preceded in death by his parents, great grandson, Liam Morris; two
sisters, Katie Miller and Ida Mae Mast; three brothers, Chris, Elmer and
Omer Miller. He was a member of Porter Baptist Church in Constantine,
MI and had worked in management at Western Rubber for 40 years. He
had served in the Navy during the Korean War. Visitation will be from
2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, March 8, at Miller-Stewart
Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury. Funeral services will
be at 11:00 am on Friday, March 9, also at the funeral home. Services will
be conducted by Pastor Randy Peterson. Burial will be in Miller
Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to Porter Baptist Church.

next door to him and appreciated his "witty sense of humor"; He has a
lovely family and I am sure will be missed.
