Monroe J. Yoder
                                        July 19, 1918 -- November 5, 2013

Monroe J. Yoder, 95, of Lagrange, died at 10:20 pm on Tuesday, November
5, at his residence. He was born on July 19, 1918 in Shipshewana, to Joas
H. and Amanda (Yoder) Yoder. On December 20, 1945 in Ligonier, he married
Katie Ann Yoder, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are three
daughters, Edna (Pete) Eash of Shipshewana, Anna (Freeman) Miller of
Brookfield, MO, Ruth (Floyd) Eash of Lagrange; two sons, Howard (Ida)
Yoder of Middlebury, LaVern (Ann) Yoder of Goshen; 22 grandchildren, 25
great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two
daughters, Mary Sue Yoder and Ruby Yoder, six sisters, Amelia Mast, Polly
Yoder, Ida Miller, Anna Raber, Edna Bontrager and Amanda Yoder, three
brothers, Perry, William and Amos Yoder. He was a farmer and a member of
the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 1:00 pm on Thursday
November 7, and all day Friday, November 8, at the Floyd Eash residence,
7710 W. 050 N. LaGrange. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Saturday
November 9, also at the Floyd Eash residence. Services will be conducted
by Bishops Chris Bontrager and Robert Mullet and the home ministers.
Burial will be in Bontrager Cemetery, Middlebury.
