Minnie Gingerich Yoder
Minnie (Gingerich) Yoder of Millersburg, passed away peacefully November 9,
2013 at the Maples Home in Goshen, surrounded by her family.  She was
born in Thomas, OK on May 11, 1914 to David and Delilah (Yoder) Gingerich.  
She married Levi Yoder on February 10, 1935. He died April 6, 1996. She is
survived by one daughter, Mabel Yoder, Phoenix, AZ and three sons, Nelson
(Erma), Millersburg, David, Goshen, and Norman (Elizabeth) of Goshen.  Five
grandchildren: Juanita (Eric) Albright, Brendan Yoder, Carlin (Jayme) Yoder,
Andrea Yoder and Mark (Claire) Yoder.  Seven great grandchildren: Caitie,
Logan, Moise, and Quinn Yoder, Matthew, Jonathan and Brendan Albright.
Two step great grandchildren, Skylar and Jaidyn Lazarre. Many others called
her Grandma and she was well known for her candy dish and her homemade
popsicles.  Many referred to her as Popsicle Grandma. She was preceded in
death by her husband, two daughters, Alma Neterer and Ruby Yoder.  One
half-sister,  Millie Mathis, sisters, Alma Lambright, Annie Miller, Fannie Yoder
and two brothers, Joni and Eli Gingerich. She was a homemaker and in her
retirement years cooked at Yoder’s Restaurant in Sarasota, FL during the
winter until she was 92. She was a member of the Fair Haven Mennonite
Church, St. Rd. 4, Goshen.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 12, at the Fair Haven Church from 2-
4 and 6-8 p.m.  There will be no viewing on Wednesday. Funeral services will
be at 10:30 on Wednesday, November 13, also at the church. Services will be
conducted by Bishop Wilbur Yoder and Pastor Harley Miller. Burial will be in
the Thomas Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Christian Aid
Ministries.

Heaven has gained another beautiful angel. We will miss Minnie but are
happy for her that she has reached her eternal reward. We had a wonderful
time visiting with her when we were up in August. Such precious memories
we’ll forever hold in our hearts, of “popsicle grandma” !! Our thoughts and
prayers are with you.
