June 1, 1957 -- October 16, 2017

Mike Huddleston, 60, of Shipshewana, died at 5:05 pm on Monday, October
16, at his residence of natural causes. He was born on June 1, 1957 in
Charleston, WV, to Virgil and Rosalee (Hudnall) Huddleston. On July 5, 1985
in Pond Gap, WV he married Marie Cavender; she survives. Survivors in
addition to his wife are a daughter, Tammy (Mark) Cawthorn of Shipshewana;
a son, Thomas Paxton of Shipshewana; seven grandchildren, five great
grandchildren; seven sisters, Cindy White, Melissa Richards, June Apple,
Violet Rucker, Donna Rucker, Judy Ferrell and Tammy Huddleston; two
brothers, Dennis Huddleston and Steve Huddleston. He was preceded in
death by his parents, son, Craig Huddleston, several brothers and sisters.
Mike was owner-operator of Discovery Cargo in Elkhart. He was a
workaholic, enjoying working on cars and playing the lotto. When asked
about his age he would jokingly say he was 16 1/2. Visitation will be from
2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, October 20, at Miller-Stewart Funeral
Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 10:00
am on Saturday, October 21, also at the funeral home. Services will be
conducted by Pastor Wade Sturdivant. Burial will be in Grace Lawn
Cemetery, Middlebury.
