Mary Etta Eash
                                             June 4, 1935 -- January 1, 2014

Mary Etta Eash, 78, of Shipshewana, died at 5:42 pm on Wednesday, January
1, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital, LaGrange. She had been in declining
health since she fell on November 21, 2013.  She was born on June 4, 1935 in
Lagrange County, to Mahlon D. and Lizzie D. (Schrock) Hostetler. On
September 29, 1956 in LaGrange County she married Erwin E. Eash, he
survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are three daughters, Lizzie
Mae (Ernest K.) Miller of Millersburg, Ruth Ann (Willie Jr.) Yoder of
Shipshewana, LeEtta (Eli, Jr.) Yutzy of Shipshewana; four sons, Marlin
(Doris) Eash and Cletus (Sue) Eash both of Shipshewana, Glen (Anna) Eash
of Goshen, Marvin (Waneta) Eash of Shipshewana; 45 grandchildren, 16
great grandchildren; five sisters, Ida Frey of Topeka, Orpha Miller of
Shipshewana, Lizzie Ann (Mervin) Lehman of Goshen, Freida (Mahlon) Raber
of Middlebury, Leah Fern Hostetler of Shipshewana; sister-in-law, Wilma Mast
of Middlebury; three brothers, Eldon (Esta) Hostetler of Middlebury, Dan
Hostetler of Shipshewana, LaVern Hostetler of IL. She was preceded in death
by her parents, two sisters, Anna Miller and Mabel Mast, brother, David
Hostetler. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish
Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Thursday January 2, and all day
Friday, January 3, at the Marlin Eash residence, 0785 N. 1000 W.
Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Saturday January 4, at
the Mervin Wingard residence, 0635 N. 1000 W., Shipshewana. Services will
be conducted by Bishop Wilbur Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be
in Yoder Cemetery, Shipshewana.
