Mary E. Yoder, 78, of Ft. Wayne, formerly of LaGrange County, died at 10:25
am on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Life Care Center, Ft. Wayne. She was
born on September 6, 1939 in Paint Township, OH, to Ezra and Anna
(Stutzman) Miller. On March 17, 1966 in Lawrence County, OH she married
Enos A. Yoder, he survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are a son,
Ezra (Barbara) Yoder of Bluffton; three daughters, Fannie (Sahr) Ngekia of
South Bend, Lydia Miller of Shipshewana, Sarah (Mose, Jr.) Miller of La
Plata, MO; 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah
Miller of Ethridge, TN, Fannie (John) Nolt of Belize, South America; two
brothers, Peter Miller of Hohenwald, TN, Eli Miller of Ethridge, TN. She was
preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Mattie Yoder, son, Eli Yoder,
sister, Ada Miller. Mary was a hard working lady who enjoyed cooking,
canning, coloring in adult coloring books, flowers and writing letters.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, November
30, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 1, also at the
funeral home. Services will be conducted by the Fairhaven Ministry Team.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to the
funeral home for funeral expenses.
