I was stunned to hear of Mels passing. He was truly a good man
and a dedicated servant of God. In my quiet time I am reminded of
so many Mel Lehman stories and memories. He was truly my friend
and golf partner. So many Bent Oak Invitational memories with
Mahlon....and oh how he loved his shoes - never soiled and always
polished. Mel, you will be missed, but never forgotten. All my love
to your family.

Dear Anna Marie, my deepest empathy and heartfelt prayers are
with you and your family. I learned to appreciate Doc so much
when he and Steve Bustos and I were elders together. Also Mel told
me that Doc was a Brother whom he felt comfortable to confide in.
I will carry you in my heart in prayer. Heaven has received another
saint.

To the family of Mr. Mel Lehman, I've known Mel for 20+ years
and have many fond memories. I had the good fortune of golfing
with Mel in Arizona at a golf outing. I can honestly say I've not
met a more honest, kinder, nor humbler man. He will always have a
place in my heart.
