Mahala K. Yoder

Mahala K. Yoder, 33, of Shipshewana died at 10:06 am on Thursday, August
24, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne from injuries sustained
in a bicycle/auto accident on State Road 5 in Shipshewana earlier that day.  
She was born on September 17, 1983 in Hazleton, IA, to Aaron A. and
Katherine (Troyer) Borntreger. On June 18, 2009 in Bethany, MO she married
Marvin N. Yoder, he survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are her
parents in Welch, OK; six sisters, Mary (Reuben) Miller of Harwood, MO,
Kathryn (Kenneth Lee) Yoder of Welch, OK, Martha (Daniel) Yoder of
Princeton, MO, Fannie (Jonathan) Miller, Barbara Borntreger and Rebecca
Borntreger all of Welch, OK; four brothers, Edward (Mary) Borntreger of
Bethany, MO, John (Ada) Borntreger of Princeton, MO, Abraham (Emma)
Borntreger of Garnett, KS, Andrew (Katie) Borntreger of Princeton, MO. She
was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Borntreger and a brother, Aaron
K. Borntreger, Jr.  Mahala was a homemaker and member of the Old Order
Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Friday, August 25, all day
Saturday, August 26, at the Leonard Schwartz residence, 8195 West State
Road 120 Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Sunday,
August 27, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Levi
E. Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be in Lehman Cemetery,
