Lucy A. Miller
Lucy A. Miller, 80 died at 2:30 am central time on Sunday, January 20 at her
residence in Olive Branch, MS. She was born on May 2, 1933 in Shipshewana,
IN. to Gideon and Fannie (Glick) Bontrager. On October 4, 1952 in Middlebury,
IN. she married Edward R. Miller, he died June 24, 2001. Surviving is a
daughter, Yvonne (Terry) Sell of Olive Branch, MS; three sons, Gaylord Miller
of Phoenix, AZ, Don Miller of Cornville, AZ; Bruce (Rita) Miller of Peoria, AZ,
grandchildren, James (Heather) Miller of Collierville, TN, Nathan (Jennifer)
Miller of Phoenix, AZ, Jarad Shannon of Redmond, WA; step grandchildren,  
Matthew Sell of Fort Wayne, IN, Adriane Sell of Dyer, IN; three great
granddaughters, five step great grandchildren; sister, Suzy Knepp of
Goshen, IN; four foster brothers, Perry (Erma) Mast and Ervin (Ruby) Mast
both of Middlebury, IN; Joni (Annabelle) Mast of Goshen, Junior (Gertie) Mast
of Millersburg, IN; and a special caregiver, Brenda Simms of Olive Branch,
MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, foster parents,
Samuel & Susie Mast and Saloma Mast, two sisters, Laura Schlabach and
Ada Musser, brother, William "Bill" Bontrager. Lucy had worked at Miles
Laboratories for over 20 years, retiring due to medical issues. In addition, she
helped Eddie at his station, Eddie’s Marathon doing bookwork for many
years. She moved to Youngtown, AZ after retirement for 16 years until moving
to Olive Branch, MS with her daughter the past 2 years. She was a member of
Youngtown United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and
6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday January 24 and one hour prior to the 10:00 am
funeral service on Saturday January 25 all at the Miller-Stewart Funeral Home,
1003 South Main Street Middlebury, IN.  Services will be conducted by her
nephew Pastor Mark Lantz. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery,
Middlebury. Memorials may be given to Methodist Hospice Center, 6400
Shelby View Drive Suite 101, Memphis, TN  38134.
