Lowell E. Weaver

Lowell E. Weaver, 87, of Goshen, passed away surrounded by his family and
friends at 3:42 pm on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Greencroft Health Care,
Goshen.  He was born on November 30, 1925 in Wakarusa to Oscar and Inez
(Wenger) Weaver.  On February 27, 1949 in Wakarusa he married Barbara E.
Schrock, she survives. They lived most of the married life in the Middlebury
area. Survivors in addition to his wife are two sons - Tom (Barbara) Weaver
of Goshen, Steve (Susan) Weaver of Salt Lake City, UT; two daughters -
friends at 3:42 pm on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Greencroft Health Care, Rebecca (Gary) Cline of Swoope, VA, Patricia Weaver of CA; nine
grandchildren, five great- grandchildren; sister - Anna Hunsberger of
Goshen; two brothers - Robert (Joann) Weaver of Goshen, Glenn (Sara)
Weaver of Middlebury. He is also survived by his best friend for the past 13
years, Coco.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Fern
Witmer. Lowell was a carpenter by trade, he was the owner/operator of
Weaver’s Woodcraft Cabinet Shop, Middlebury and did other construction
work and woodworking projects. He was a charter member of Bonneyville
Mennonite Church, Middlebury in which he helped to construct the original
church building.  He loved music and was active in the Old Tyme Music
Makers and other various quartet groups.  He had a love for the outdoors
and enjoyed spending time fishing, camping and riding his Gold Wing
Motorcycle with many local couples.  As a young man Lowell serve his CPS
in the Dakotas building dams and later in life he served on many mission
trips.Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April
16, and at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury.
There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 10:00 am funeral service
on Wednesday April 17 also at the funeral home. Services will be conducted
by Pastors Marcella Hershberger and Eldon Stoltzfus. Burial will be at a later
date in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorials may be given to
Bonneyville Mennonite Church.

me peace knowing he is with the Lord. He truly was a godly man, godly
father, and husband to mom.

I am going to miss your Dad. You have my deepest sympathy. I was one of
his care companions at Greencroft but became very good friends. Also will
miss coco. And he will miss his dad.
