September 12, 1998 -- May 15, 2015
Lorinda Ruth Bontrager, 16, of Goshen, went to be with Jesus when the
angels called her home Friday afternoon following a motor vehicle accident.
She was born on September 12, 1998, in Ft. Wayne. Survivors include her
parents, Thomas and Rhoda (Schrock) Bontrager; a sister, Jennifer (Larry)
Weaver; two brothers, Anthony Bontrager and Jaran Bontrager;
grandparents, LeRoy and Velma Schrock all of Goshen; special family
friends, Lamar and Rosetta Martin and their children, Mariana, Violet and
Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elam and Mary
Bontrager. Lorinda was a member of the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite
Church; she was a very outgoing young lady and a friend to everybody and
lived life to the fullest. She was a real people person and had a concern for
the youth in her community. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on
Sunday, May 17 and 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Monday, May 18 at
R.M.Y.C., 24647 CR 44 Nappanee. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on
Tuesday, May 19 at the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church, 25012 CR
38, Goshen. Services will be conducted by home ministry. Burial will be in
Yellow Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Wee Lambs Adoption
