April 19, 1960 ~ May 6, 2017

Lisa D. Shrock, 57, of Topeka, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded
by her family, on Saturday, May 6. She was born on April 19, 1960 in
Goshen, to Harold and Norma Jean (Voight) Weldy. On August 22, 1987 in
Emma, she married LaMar L. Shrock, he survives. Survivors in addition to
her husband are daughter, Andrea (Courtney) Miller of Shipshewana; son,
Austin Shrock of Topeka; father, Harold of Goshen; step mother, Arla of
Sarasota, FL; two brothers, Scott Weldy of Goshen, Todd (Heidi) Weldy of
Elkhart; sister, Dianna Weldy of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her
mother, Norma Jean Weldy. Lisa thoroughly enjoyed living in the
Topeka/Shipshewana/Emma area. She enjoyed vacations with the kids and
later in life when she and LaMar were able to go together. Her pastimes
included reading, cooking, baking, listening to classic rock, and flower
gardening. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls.
She enjoyed meeting people and getting to know them. She was a server at
the Blue Gate Restaurant for 15 years, a job which she treasured. Since her
kidney transplant in 2010, she had worked part-time at Yoder's Department
Store. She immensely enjoyed babysitting Courtney and Andrea's foster
children the last six months. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on
Monday, May 8 and 1:00 - 5:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 9 at
Emma Mennonite Church, 1900 South 600 West, Topeka. A Celebration of
Life Service will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 10 also at the church.
Services will be conducted by Pastor Gene Hartman. Burial will be in Shore
Cemetery, Shipshewana. Memorials may be given to Department of Child
Services-LaGrange.

Lamar, Andrea and Austin... I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I got to
know you all when I worked at 6 Mile and enjoyed visiting with you. My
