Levi J. Raber
                                       August 12, 1938 -- April 11, 2018

Levi J. Raber, 79, of Topeka, died at 5:56 pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at
his residence. He was born on August 12, 1938 in LaGrange County to John
and Anna (Yoder) Raber. On March 9, 1967 in LaGrange County he married
Betty Bontrager, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are four
daughters, Edna Sue (Ervin) Yoder, Inez (Harley) Yoder, Kathryn (David)
Borkholder all of Topeka, Anna Marie (Perry) Miller of Shipshewana; 17
grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Ervin (Clara) Raber of
Shipshewana, Monroe (Naomi) Raber of Topeka; sister, Ida (Levi) Miller of
Shipshewana; brother-in-law, Mel (Alice) Frey of Topeka. He was preceded in
death by his parents; grandson, Matthew Yoder; two sisters, Edna Frey and
Sue Troyer. Levi was a retired farmer and had also done concrete and
masonry work. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation
will be after 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 12, and all day Friday, April 13, at the
David Borkholder residence, 8605 West 300 South Topeka. Funeral services
will be at 9:30 am on Saturday, April 14, at the same residence. Services will
be conducted by the home ministers. Burial will be in Bontrager Cemetery,
