Levi J. Fry
                                    August 1, 1947 -- November 26, 2015

Levi J. Fry, 68, of Shipshewana, died at 4:10 pm on Thursday, November 26 at his
residence. He was born on August 1, 1947 in Sturgis, MI, to Joe and Wilma
(Bontrager) Fry. On October 27, 1966 in Shipshewana he married Amelia Hostetler,
she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are his mother, Wilma Miller of
Shipshewana; a daughter, Cathy (Devon) Beachey of Shipshewana; a son, Devon
Lee Fry of IN; six grandchildren, Anita (Lavon) Miller, Steven Beachey, Kevin
Beachey, Michael Beachey, Cory Fry, Tiffany Fry; two great- grandchildren, Janie
Miller and Weston Fry; four sisters, Edna (Sam) Yoder of Hicksville, OH, Anna
(Clayton) Knepp of Yoder, KS, Irene (Roman) Hochstetler of Goshen, Ruby (David)
Kuhns of Shipshewana; two step-sisters, Mary (Andy) Troyer and Katie (Marvin)
Miller both of Shipshewana; a brother, Alton (Leanna) Fry of Shipshewana. He was
preceded in death by his father, Joe Fry and step-father, Amos J. Miller. Levi had
been the owner/operator of Fry’s Bicycle Shop and later had done woodworking. He
was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on
Friday, November 27 and all day Saturday, November 28 at the family's residence,
500 East Berkshire Drive Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on
Sunday, November 29 at the former Landmark building, 1205 S. Van Buren St.
Shipshewana. Services will be conducted by Bishop Homer Bontrager and the
home ministers. Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana.
