Lester L. Mishler
                                       April 10, 1927 -- May 19, 2016

Lester L. Mishler, 89, of Middlebury, died at 11:09 am on Thursday, May 19, at
Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on April 10, 1927 in Elkhart County, to
Clem and Ida (Schrock) Mishler.  On May 18, 1947 in LaGrange he married
Lila Rheinheimer; she survives. They had just celebrated their 69th wedding
anniversary. Survivors in addition to his wife are their four children, Jerry
(Peg) Mishler of Woodruff, SC, Bonita (Mel) Miller of Middlebury, Allen (Mary)
Mishler of Greenville, SC; Joyce (Roger) Frye of Goshen; nine grandchildren,
22 great grandchildren; sister, Norma Burgess of Topeka. He was preceded
in death by his parents and two brothers, Lloyd and Harold Mishler. Lester
was a mechanic all of his life and owner/operator of Mishler’s Garage for 40
years, performing the mechanic work for Lambright’s Inc. In retirement he
enjoyed restoring Farmall tractors. He was a member of Shore Mennonite
Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday, May
21, at Shore Mennonite Church, 7235 W 100 N Shipshewana. A private family
burial will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, May 22, with a memorial service at
2:30 pm, at Shore Mennonite Church, Shipshewana. Services will be
conducted by Pastor Carl Horner. Burial will be in Shore Cemetery,
Shipshewana. Memorials may be given to World Vision.
