Leon Jay Yoder
Leon Jay Yoder, 27, of Shipshewana, died at 1:00 am, on Sunday, September
1, 2013 while on a weekend vacation with his siblings at Waubee Lake in
Milford. He was born on June 25, 1986 in Sturgis, MI, to Jonas and Margaret
(Yoder) Yoder. Surviving in addition to his parents are four sisters - Waneta
(David) Bontrager of Middlebury, Ruth (Toby) Yoder of Topeka, Rosetta
(Lynn) Miller of Millersburg, Sarah (Joe) Miller of Middlebury; two brothers -
Arlin Ray Yoder and Alvin Dean Yoder both of Shipshewana; seven
nephews; five nieces; grandmother - Emma Marie Yoder of Lagrange; ten
aunts and nine uncles. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Magdalena
Yoder, uncle, Samuel Yoder, grandparents, Phineas and Wilma Yoder,
grandfather, Jacob Yoder. He had most recently worked at Jayco. Visitation
will be after 2:00 pm on Tuesday September 3 and all day on Wednesday
September 4 at the family's residence, 4055 West State Road 120
Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Thursday September 5
also at the family's residence.  Services will be conducted by Bishop LaVern
Raber and the home ministers of the Old Order Amish Church. Burial will be
in Scott-Seybert Cemetery, Shipshewana.
