Leland T. Lambright
                                         April 27, 1934 -- September 22, 2014

Leland T. Lambright, 80, of Topeka, died at 8:15 pm on Monday, September 22, at
the scene of a bicycle/auto accident at 6800 West 200 South Topeka. He was born
on April 27, 1934  in LaGrange County, to Tobie and Lizzie (Troyer) Lambright. On
May 7, 1959 in LaGrange County he married Anna C. Miller, she survives. Survivors
in addition to his wife are four daughters, Dorothy (Erwin Jay) Yoder of Bloomfield,
IA, LaVerda (Cletus) Schwartz of Howe, Arlene (Richard) Miller of Shipshewana,
Betty (Vernon) Miller of Goshen; four sons, Marvin (Erma) Lambright of Topeka,
Ervin (Rhonda) Lambright of Middlebury, Harley (Waneta) Lambright of
Shipshewana, Jerry (Edna) Lambright of Topeka; 42 grandchildren, 42 great
grandchildren; sister, Viola (John) Miller of Topeka; three brothers, Freeman
(Susan) Lambright of Middlebury, Calvin Lambright, Harley Lambright both of
Topeka; sister-in-law, Ada Lambright of Ava, IA; brother-in-law, Eli (Elizabeth) Miller
of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents; three grandchildren; Ferman
Lambright, twins Dale and Devon Lambright; two sisters, Orpha Bontrager and
LeAnna Miller; three brothers, Richard, Joas and Omer Lambright. Leland was a
farmer for most of his life and in retirement he was working for the Riegsecker
family giving carriage rides at the Blue Gate Restaurant in Shipshewana. He was a
member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Tuesday
September 23 and all day on Wednesday, September 24, at the Jerry Lambright
residence, 6800 West 200 South Topeka. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on
Thursday September 25, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by
Bishop Harley Mast and the home ministers. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery,

My family met him at the Blue Gate.  He was a smart and gentle man.  I am sorry for
your loss.  May he rest in peace.
