September 28, 1922 -- January 18, 2020

Katie Ann Yoder, 97, of LaGrange, died at 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, at
the Healthcare Center at Waterford Crossing, Goshen. She was born on
September 28, 1922 in Topeka to Noah and Mattie (Yoder) Yoder. On
December 20, 1945 in Ligonier she married Monroe J. Yoder; he died
November 5, 2013. Surviving are three daughters, Edna (Pete) Eash of
Shipshewana, Anna (Freeman) Miller of Brookfield, MO, Ruth (Floyd) Eash of
LaGrange; two sons, Howard (Ida) Yoder of Middlebury, LaVern (Ann) Yoder
of Shipshewana; 22 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; three sisters,
Susan Lambright of Goshen, Dorothy Borkholder of Nappanee, Edna (Alva)
Miller of Shipshewana; two brothers, Daniel (Vi) Yoder of Fort Wayne, Amzie
(Mae) Yoder of Nappanee. She was preceded in death by her parents;
husband; two daughters, Mary Sue Yoder and infant Ruby Yoder; four
brothers, Ervin, LeRoy, Alton and Menno Yoder; a sister, Emma Yoder. Katie
was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will
be after 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 19, and all day Monday, January 20, at
the Chris Bontrager residence, 0670 N. 765 W., Shipshewana. Funeral
services will be at 9:30 am on Tuesday, January 21, at the same residence.  
Services will be conducted by Bishop Chris Bontrager and the home
ministers. Burial will be in Bontrager Cemetery, Middlebury
