Joan B. Gannon
                                   May 16, 1939 ~ October 11, 2017

Joan B. Gannon, 78, of Middlebury went home to be with her Lord and
Savior at 7:04 am on Wednesday, October 11, at her daughter’s
residence in Plymouth. She was born May 16, 1939 in Goshen to Wesley
and Marie (Nusbaum) Breniser. On February 23, 1963 in Goshen she
married Thomas J. Gannon; he died January 9, 2007. Surviving are two
daughters, Jackie (Albert Hoeckelberg) Gannon of Plymouth, Patty (Rod)
Stump of Nappanee; two sons, Mark (Tracie) Gannon and David (Kris)
Gannon both of Middlebury; 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and
two expected great grandchildren; a brother, Dean (Edna) Breniser of
Middlebury. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a
daughter, Sheila Gannon. Joan was a Registered Nurse for 54 years and
was still licensed and performing home healthcare through this year. She
enjoyed gardening, cross-stitch and sewing and was a member of St.
Mary’s Catholic Church, Bristol. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 and 6:
00 - 8:00 pm on Monday, October 16, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home,
1003 South Main Street Middlebury. There will also be visitation from 10:
30 -11:00 am on Tuesday, October 17, followed by an 11:00 am Funeral
Mass all at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bristol.  Services will be
conducted by Father Robert Van Kempen. Burial will be in Forest Grove
Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorials may be given to either A.D.E.C. or The
Chiara Home of South Bend or Project Promise.

Joan was a good friend and in Bible study class she will be greatly
missed.
