Jimmy E.  Ridenour
                         September 24, 1937 -- June 16, 2015

Jimmy E.  Ridenour,  77, of Middlebury, died at 10:35 am on
Tuesday, June 16, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He had battled
cancer since September of 2014 and had been in declining health
the last four weeks. He was born on September 24, 1937 in Decatur
to Ralph and Mary (Foust) Ridenour. On September 16, 1961 in
Ligonier he married Carolyn Moser, she survives. Survivors in
addition to his wife are a daughter, Catherine (Mark) Roebuck of
Middlebury; two sons, Michael (Alberta) Ridenour and David (Maria)
Ridenour both of Middlebury; 10 grandchildren, seven great
grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Rollins of Lowell, MI, Joyce
Mocherman of Bryan, OH; four brothers, Roy (Janice) Ridenour of
Fremont, Don (Shirley) Ridenour of Coldwater, MI, Bill Ridenour,
Mark (Julie) Bromagen of Hicksville, OH. He was preceded in death
by his father, Ralph Ridenour and mother, Mary Bromagen. Jimmy
had worked in the RV Industry and retired from Marathon Homes in
Elkhart. He was a Navy Veteran, a charter and lifetime member of
the Eagles of LaGrange, a member of the Moose Lodge in Angola
and of the American Legion Post 210 in Middlebury. Visitation will
be for one hour prior to the 11:00 am Celebration of Life service on
Saturday July 18, at Middlebury Church of the Brethren,
Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Pastor Janet Shaver.
Burial with Military Honors by American Legion Post 210 will follow
in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorials may be given to
United Cancer Services of Elkhart County, Riley Children's Hospital
or Ryan's Place.
