Jill A. McCarty
                                     August 18, 1965 -- May 19, 2015

Jill A. McCarty, 49, of Shipshewana, formerly of Pierceton, died
unexpectedly at 6:13 pm on Tuesday, May 19 at her residence. She was
born on August 18, 1965 in South Bend to Wayne L. and JoAnna (Munger)
Williams. On January 2, 1993 in New Carlisle she married John H. McCarty,
III, he survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are two daughters,
Jenna Sam and Katie McCarty, both of Warsaw; step daughter, Dawnielle
Leland of KY; sister, Gayle (Wayne) Kopec of South Bend; and her
beloved dogs Cooper and Annie. She was preceded in death by her
parents. She was very organized and worked as a Certified Medical
Transcriptionist out of her home. Jill was a devout animal lover and
wished for no one to send flowers, but instead make a donation to the
Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County (www.awlwarsaw.com) in
her name. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 21 at
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury. Funeral
services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, May 22 also at the funeral home.
Friends and family will meet at 1:00 pm for a graveside service at
Silverbrook Cemetery, 1400 E Main St, Niles, MI 49120.
