Jeff Tackett
                                  June 16, 1962 -- March 2, 2015

Jeff Tackett, 52, of Shipshewana, died at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 2, at
his residence from an apparent heart attack. He was born on June 16, 1962
in Jenkins, KY, to Jerry Neal and Olivia "Ovie" (Mullins) Tackett.  He had
lived most of his life in this area. On April 4, 1981 in Middlebury he married
Betsy O’Brien, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are two sons,
Josh (Sara) Tackett of Middlebury, Daniel (Loren Morales) Tackett of Clute,
TX; three grandchildren, Cooper, Rexford and Olive; three sisters, Laura
(James) Greensides of Bristol, Tina Knight of Goshen, Jerri Lynn (Bill)
Middleton of Butler; two brothers, Randy (Kelly) Tackett of Constantine, MI,
Rick (Linda) Tackett of Fontana, CA.  He was preceded in death by his
parents and a brother, Terry Tackett.  He loved spending time with his
children and grandchildren and was known for his kindness and
willingness to help others.  He enjoyed fishing and ice fishing and had
worked in the RV Industry. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on
Thursday March 5, followed by 2:00 pm funeral service at Miller-Stewart
Funeral Home, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Pastor Drew
Ryall. Burial will be in Bonneyville Cemetery, Bristol. Memorials may be
given to Miller-Stewart Funeral Home to assist with expenses.

Jeff was the best uncle and mentor anyone could ever ask for. We have
had so many ups and downs in the past, but he was one of the best people
that I have ever had the chance of knowing and spending time with.
Without him, I don't know where I would be in life right now. Please let
Betsy, Josh, Daniel, Sara, Loren, and all of the grand babies know that I
love them dearly and wish I could be there for them. I love you all very

Betsy, I was so sad to hear about Jeff's death. We didn't get to see you
guys very often but I will always remember how kind he was. Please know
