Jacob D. Fry
                                      September 8, 1942 -- June 28, 2015

Jacob D. Fry, 72, of Topeka, died at 11:05 pm on Sunday, June 28, IU Health
Goshen Hospital. He was born on September 8, 1942 in LaGrange, to Dan J.
and Lydia (Helmuth) Fry. On November 1, 1962 in LaGrange County he
married Pollyanna Miller; she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are
seven sons, LeRoy (Linda) Fry of Topeka, David Fry of Ypsilanti, MI, Daniel
(Velda) Fry of Millersburg, Alvin (Esther) Fry of Wolcottville, Delbert (Linda)
Fry of Topeka, Harley (Etta) Fry of Millersburg, Floyd Fry of Bristol; two
daughters, Katie (Lavon) Borkholder of Millersburg, Mary Ruth (Kenneth)
Miller of Wolcottville; 37 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; six brothers,
John Fry of Nappanee, Christ (Katie) Fry of Meadville, PA, Joseph (Bonnie)
Fry of MI, Dan Jr. (Ruby) Fry of Nappanee, Clarence (Pollyanna) Fry of
Millersburg, Melvin (Rosetta) Fry of LaGrange; two sisters, Mary Ellen
(Vernon) Raber of Abbeville, SC, Esther Anna Fry of Cross Hill, SC.  He was
preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Henry, Samuel and Willard
Fry and two sisters, Elizabeth and Susie Fry. He was a member of the Old
Order Amish Church and provided horse shoeing services. Visitation will be
after 1:00 pm on Tuesday June 30, and all day Wednesday, July 1, at the
family's residence, 4775 S. 400 W. Topeka. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am
on Thursday, July 2, also at the family's residence. Services will be
conducted by Bishop LeRoy Troyer and the home ministers. Burial will be in
Miller Cemetery, LaGrange.
