Irma Troyer, 95, of Shipshewana, died at 4:25 pm on Friday, September 29, at
her residence. She was born on May 29, 1922, in Shipshewana to Levi C. and
Fannie A.  (Beechy) Yoder. On March 31, 1942 in Shipshewana she married
Howard H. Troyer, he died September 25, 2003. Surviving are five daughters,
Bonnie Jean (Harvey, Jr.) Stutzman of Shipshewana, Winona (Willard) Miller
of Middlebury, Dora (Clarence) Wingard of Middlebury, Carolyn (Amos H.)
Yoder of Shipshewana, Linda Miller of Middlebury; six sons, Harry Jay (Mary
Ellen) Troyer of Shipshewana, Dale (Betty) Troyer of Nappanee, Devon
(Rosetta) Troyer of Nappanee, Dennis (Dorothy) Troyer of Nappanee, Ernie A.
(Loretta) Troyer of Shipshewana, Paul (Karen) Troyer of Shipshewana; 70
grandchildren, 262 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren; two
sisters, Edna Miller of Centreville, MI and Mary Gingerich of Goshen. She was
preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Martha Troyer and
Barbara Mullet; five brothers, Alvin Yoder, Perry Yoder, Aaron Yoder, Levi
Yoder and William Yoder; eight great grandchildren. Irma was a homemaker
and member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm
on Saturday, September 30, and all day Sunday, October 1, at the family's
residence, 2125 North 1100 West Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at
9:30 am on Monday, October 2, at the same residence. Services will be
conducted by Bishop Glen Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be in
Naylor Cemetery, Shipshewana.
