Inell E. Odom
                            December 28, 1927 -- January 18, 2013

Inell E. Odom, 85, of Bristol, died at 11:00 am, on Friday, January 18, at
Elkhart General Hospital due to complications of Alzheimer’s and
pneumonia. She was born on December 28, 1927, in Jasper, AL, to
Robert Edward and Mattie Elizabeth (Burgess) Sherer. On February 8,
1945 in Jasper, AL she married MC Odom, he died October 30, 2008.
Surviving are three daughters, Sarah (Richard) Neff of Middlebury, Sandy
Draime of Bristol, Shirley (Ken) Booth of Bristol; three sisters, Frances
(Lamar) Rink of Three Rivers, MI, Faye Snyder of White Pigeon, MI,
Geraldine (Kenneth) Garn of Marcellus, MI; a brother, Charles Wayne
(Carol) Sherer of Plano, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband,
MC Odom, parents, two brothers, James Edward Sherer and Curtis
Clayton Sherer. Inell started out working for Stewart Coach in Bristol,
then Weyerhaeuser in Middlebury, Earthway Products in Bristol and
retired from Bayer Corporation in Elkhart. She enjoyed flower gardening,
quilting and mushroom hunting. Visitation will be from 1:00-5:00 pm on
Sunday January 20, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main
Street Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday
January 21, also at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home. Services will be
conducted by Pastor Rick Gerring. Burial will be in Mottville Cemetery,
Mottville, MI. Memorials may be given to the Center for Hospice &
