Ida W. Miller
Ida W. Miller, 88, of Goshen, died at 9:10 pm on Friday at her residence. She
was born on February 22, 1930 in LaGrange to William J. and Anna
(Bontrager) Yoder. On January 31, 1952 in Shipshewana she married Harvey
L. Miller, he survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are five sons,
Jerry (Esther) Miller of Topeka, Wilbur (Leah) Miller of Plymouth, Levi (Joann)
Miller of Middlebury, Lester (Tamara) Miller of Goshen, Joe (Nazel) Miller of
Goshen; five daughters, Irene (Mose) Coblentz of Ashland, Ohio, Katie Miller
of Goshen, Rosa (Jim) Hershberger of Millersburg, Ohio, Martha (LaMar)
Riegsecker of Middlebury, Rachel (Monroe, Jr.) Barkman of Ligonier;
27grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma Schwartz of Monroe;
brother, Amos (Lena) Yoder of Windsor, Missouri. She was preceded in death
by her parents; three brothers and two sisters. Ida was a homemaker and
made many quilts and other craft items. She was a member of the Old Order
Amish Church. Visitation will be after 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 28, and all
day Sunday, April 29, at the Edward and Laura Yoder residence, 63798
County Rd. 37 Goshen. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Monday, April
30, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop LaVern
Kuhns and the home ministers. Burial will be in Nisley Cemetery, Goshen.
