Ida C. Petersheim
                                            June 7, 1936 -- July 8, 2014

Ida C. Petersheim, 78, of Topeka, died at 12:20 am on Tuesday, July 8, at her
residence. She was born on June 7, 1936 in LaGrange County, to Chris and
Wilma (Christner) Hochstetler.  On December 25, 1958 in LaGrange County,
she married Melvin J. Petersheim, he survives. Survivors in addition to her
husband are four daughters, Rosanna (Galen) Miller and Elsie (Wilmer)
Yoder both of Millersburg, Ruby (Marion) Miller of LaGrange, Dorothy
Petersheim at home; six sons, Levi (Barb) Petersheim of Goshen, Christy
(Eileen) Petersheim of Shipshewana, Sam (Mary) Petersheim of Goshen,
Lester (Esther) Petersheim and Elmer (Kaylene) Petersheim both of
Shipshewana, Melvin Petersheim Jr. at home; 41 grandchildren, 44 great
grandchildren; five sisters, Mattie C. Miller of Topeka, Katie (Elmer) Mast of
LaGrange, Anna Mae (Ernest) Schrock of Goshen, Elsie (Harley) Miller of
LaGrange, Mary (Elmer) Miller of Shipshewana; six brothers, Lester (Clara)
Hochstetler of Wolcottville, David (Vicki) Hochstetler of Topeka, Harvey
(Marie) Hochstetler of LaGrange, Christy (Alta) Hochstetler and John
(Annabelle) Hochstetler both of Shipshewana, Mervin (Clara) Hochstetler of
LaGrange; brother-in-law, Jesse (Susie) Schlabach of Goshen. She was
preceded in death by her parents, sister, Rosie Schlabach, sister-in-law,
LeAnna Hochstetler, brother-in-law, Levi Miller, great-granddaughter,
Amanda Lynn Petersheim, grandson-in-law, Daniel Yoder. She was a
homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be
after 2:00 pm on Wednesday July 9, and all day Thursday, July 10, at the
Perry Mast residence, 3880 S. 700 W., Topeka. Funeral services will be at
9:30 am on Friday July 11, also at the Perry Mast residence. Services will be
conducted by Bishop Ervin M. Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be
in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
