Henry A. Herschberger
                                      March 19, 1930 -- July 16, 2013

Henry A. Herschberger, 83, of Goshen died July 16, at 8:38 pm at IU Goshen
Health Hospital. Henry was born March 19, 1930 in Nappanee to Ananias
and Drucilla (Yoder) Herschberger who preceded him in death. On
September 23, 1951 Henry married Wilma Fern Troyer who died July 8, 2012.
Henry is survived by four sons, Larry (Mary) Herschberger of Middlebury,
Hank (Melody) Herschberger of Goshen, Titus Herschberger of Golden, CO,
Wes (Janelle) Herschberger of Millersburg, a daughter, Christena (Courtney)
Stump of Goshen; 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; three
brothers, Ura (Sarah) Herschberger of Arthur, IL, David (Frieda)
Herschberger of Sioux Lookout, ONT, Omer Ray Herschberger of Niles, MI;
one sister, Fannie Mae (Jacob) Helmuth of Lovington, IL; and one brother-in-
law, Levi Diener of Arcola, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents,
and two sisters, Laura and Verna Viola.  As an adult Henry was a farmer for
many years before beginning to deliver gas for Pyrofax Gas. He later
became the branch manager for the Goshen branch. He owned and
operated a food stand at Peddlers Village called the Ice Cream Palace before
purchasing and operating Town & Country Appliances in 1979. Henry was
also involved in Jail services, Gideon’s International and was an active
member of Mount Joy Mennonite Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00
pm on Friday July 19, Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street
Middlebury. There will also be one hour of visitation before the 10:00 am
funeral service on Saturday July 20, at Mount Joy Mennonite Church,
Goshen.  Services will be conducted by Pastor Ben Shirk. Burial will be in
Miller Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to Gideon’s International.

my day. He came into the bank with a silly joke most days. I will miss him
