Harry E. Miller
April 8, 1922 -- December 23, 2013
Harry E. Miller, 91, of Goshen, died at 12:30 am, on Monday, December 23, at the
Maples at Waterford Crossing, Goshen. He was born on April 8, 1922, in Sawyer
County, WI, to Eli and Elizabeth (Miller) Miller. On November 28, 1946 in LaGrange
County he married Ida Weirich. She died February 19, 2004. Surviving are three
daughters, Frieda Borntrager of Middlebury, Norma (Wayne) Schrock of Millersburg,
Marilyn (Homer) Miller of Goshen; a son, Floyd (Linda) Miller of Middlebury; five
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife,
parents, three sisters, Anna Miller, Fannie Gingerich and Mattie Gingerich, two
brothers, Joe and Ezra Miller, son-in-law, Ervin J. Borntrager. He was a charter
member of Woodlawn Amish Mennonite Church, a woodworker and retired
carpenter. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday December 26, at
Woodlawn Amish Mennonite Church, 62861 CR 41 Goshen. Funeral services will be
at 10:00 am on Friday December 27, also at Woodlawn Amish Mennonite Church.
Services will be conducted by Pastors Steve Miller, Glen Miller and Dean Miller.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to World
Missionary Press or Galilean Children’s Home.
