Harley D. Mast
                                         April 15, 1932 -- July 30, 2018

Harley D. Mast, 86, of Goshen, died at 9:03 am on Monday, July 30, at
Goshen Health Hospital, after a brief stay.  He was born on April 15, 1932  
in Nappanee, to Martin and Susie (Hochstetler) Mast.  On February 27,
1954, in New Jersey, he married Joan Phillips, she survives. Survivors in
addition to his wife are a son, Jeff (Jamie Martino) Mast of Indianapolis;
two daughters, Sharon (Mark) Osthimer of South Bend, Roxanne (Greg)
Bowers of Goshen; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
brother, Lester (Doris) Mast of Nappanee; two sisters, Ruby (Mel)
Schlabauch of Howe, Clara (Eli) Schwartz of Coloma, Michigan. He was
preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, David Mast; four brothers
and one sister. He worked in management in the RV Industry and was
owner/operator of E-Z Cap, a fiberglass company. Harley was an avid
golfer and was known as a handyman. He enjoyed snowmobiling and
riding dirt bikes. He served as a M.P. in the Army during the Korean War.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren and especially his
great-grandchildren. The family will be holding a private funeral service
with Pastor John Howenstine officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00
pm on Wednesday, August 1, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South
Main Street Middlebury. Military honors will be giving during both the
private family service and public visitation. Memorials may be given to
United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
