Goldie Pauline Lambright
Goldie Pauline Lambright, 91, of Goshen, formerly of Shipshewana,
passed away at 7:15 am on Sunday, January 7, at Greencroft Haven
House, Goshen. She was born on October 13, 1926 in LaGrange
County to James M. and Nora (Yoder) Troyer. On February 7, 1948 in
Shipshewana she married Robert Lambright; he passed away April
25, 1992. Survivors include three daughters, Melody (Terry)
Ernsberger, Sandra (Jim) Yoder and Joy (John) Liechty all of Goshen;
two sons, Keith (Doreen) Lambright and Kevin (Carrie) Lambright
both of Shipshewana; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Glada
Holst and Glenola Troyer; a brother, Sam J. Troyer; and a half-sister,
Dorothy Kropf. Goldie was a member of Shore Church, a homemaker
and had worked at the family’s business, the Shipshewana Auction
for many years. She was very active and volunteered often in the
Shipshewana community. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 pm on
Wednesday, January 10, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South
Main Street Middlebury. A family graveside service will be held
Thursday afternoon followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00
pm on Thursday, January 11,  at Shore Church, Shipshewana.
Services will be conducted by Pastor Carl Horner. Burial will be in
Shore Cemetery, Shipshewana. Memorials may be given to Menno
Clinic, India or the Greencroft Foundation.  Online condolences may

Goldie was one of the first people we met when we moved to
Shipshewana in 1972.  She was always so sweet and kind.  We are
blessed for knowing her for many years.  Our thoughts are with you

Well before I had the opportunity to meet Goldie, I would walk past her
home on my way to my office. She was so friendly and kind to me as
a stranger. It was a blessing to eventually get to know her as a friend.
