Freida Marie Raber
                                  March 9, 1942 ~ November 8, 2017

Freida Marie Raber, 75, of Middlebury, died at 11:55 pm on Wednesday,
November 8 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital, following a stroke she had two
weeks ago.  She was born on March 9, 1942 in, LaGrange County, to Mahlon
and Lizzie (Schrock) Hostetler.  On December 6, 1962 in LaGrange County
she married Mahlon Raber, he survives. Survivors in addition to her husband
are four daughters, LeAnna (Levi) Bontrager and Treva (David) Lambright
both of Shipshewana, Erma (Jonas, Jr.) Miller of Millersburg, Leah Fern
(Dennis) Hochstetler of Bremen; three sons, Willard (Linda) Raber of
Shipshewana, Maynard (Darlene) Raber of Middlebury, Mahlon Jr. (Jamie)
Raber of Ligonier; 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; four sisters, Ida
Frey of Ligonier, Orpha Miller of Shipshewana, Lizzie Ann Lehman of Topeka,
Leah Fern Hostetler of Shipshewana; two brothers, Daniel Hostetler of
Shipshewana, LaVern Hostetler of Anderson. She was preceded in death by
her parents, four sisters, Nina Hostetler, Anna Miller, Mary Etta Eash and
Mabel Mast, two brothers, David and Eldon Hostetler. Freida was a
homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. She was currently
working at Jojo’s Pretzels in Shipshewana, where she had worked for
several years. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 9, and
all day Friday, November 10, at the family residence, 0570 North 1000 West,
Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Saturday November 11,
at the Mervin Wingard residence, 0635 North 1000 West, Shipshewana.
Services will be conducted by Bishop Wilbur E. Miller and the home
ministers. Burial will be in Forks Cemetery, Middlebury.
