Freeman L. Glick
Freeman L. Glick, 69, of Shipshewana, died at 2:25 pm on Saturday, March
16, at Goshen Health Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1949 in Goshen to
Dan M. and Mattie (Yoder) Glick. On November 18, 1971 in Topeka he married
Nettie M. Lambright, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are two
daughters, Anna (Calvin) Yoder of Middlebury, Laura (David) Lambright of
LaGrange; four sons, William (Michelle) Glick of Middlebury, John (Dora)
Glick of Shipshewana, David (Loretta) Glick of Middlebury, Richard (Richelle)
Glick of Wawaka; 34 grandchildren, one great grandson; his mother in
Goshen; two sisters, Barbara Ann (Ora) Mast of Middlebury, Sue Ellen (Joe,
Jr.) Yoder of LaGrange. He was preceded in death by his father; a stillborn
brother, David Glick; and a granddaughter, Kari Renae Glick. Freeman had
worked in different area factories and a cabinet shop. He was also a farmer
and member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm
on Sunday, March 17, and all day Monday, March 18, at the Mervin Beechy
residence, 7235 W. 250 N. Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am
on Tuesday, March 19, at the Orville Miller residence, 2070 N. 700 W.
Shipshewana. Services will be conducted by Bishop Joe Hochstetler and the
home ministers. Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of arrangements.
