Floyd M. Bontrager
Floyd M. Bontrager, 82, of Topeka, died at 8:50 am on Wednesday, December
18, 2013 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital, LaGrange.  He had been in failing
health. He was born on June 18, 1931  in LaGrange County, to Mahlon N. and
Rosa  (Lambright) Bontrager. On November 20, 1951 he married Wilma Miller,
she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are a daughter - LeAnna Yutzy
of Nottawa, MI; four grandchildren - Marcus Yutzy, Julie Yutzy, Darin Yutzy,
Bethany Yutzy; son-in-law- Eli Yutzy; two sisters - Katie Knepp of Topeka
and Susie (Freeman) Lehman of Shipshewana; two brothers - Elmer (Katie)
Bontrager of Topeka and Menno (Marilyn) Bontrager of Middlebury. He was
preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Clara Bontrager. Floyd was the
owner/operator of Honeyville Furniture and had worked at local area trailer
factories. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church, where he served
as a minister. He and his wife wintered in Florida for many years.Visitation will
be after 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 19 and all day Friday, December 20
at the family's residence. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Saturday,
December 21 also at the family's residence. Services will be conducted by
Bishop Ervin Yoder and the home ministers. Burial will be in Honeyville
Cemetery, Topeka. Miller-Stewart funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of
