Floyd S. Troyer
                          September 23, 1939 -- May 18, 2018

Floyd S. Troyer, 78, of Goshen, died at 6:52 am on Friday, May 18, at
Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on September 23, 1939 in
Goshen to Samuel and Sarah (Yoder) Troyer. On July 23, 1960 in
Topeka he married Joyce Troyer, she survives. Survivors in addition
to his wife are twin daughters, Carla and Gary Penland of North
Webster and Marla and Ned Cook of Goshen; a son, Bradley and
Debra Troyer of Huntsville, Alabama; six grandchildren, Ryan and
Sara Sink, Justin and Claire Cook, Stephanie Cook, Bradley Sink,
Atley Troyer, Cassandra Cook; sister, Edith M. Herschberger of
Goshen; two brothers, Elroy and Alberta Troyer of Goshen and Ora
andMary Troyer of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his
parents; two sisters, Ada Steury and Ida Reigescker; three brothers,
Sam, Howard and Alvin Troyer. Floyd had worked most of his life at
Troyer's Poultry, Goshen where he retired as a salesman. He was an
avid baseball fan and had traveled to almost every baseball park in
the states. He played fast pitch softball at Shanklin Park for many
years playing for Keene Machine and Gonderman Coin. He loved
spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and
enjoyed photography. Floyd was an active member of the
Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church. Visitation will be from    
1:00  - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 22, at Brenneman Memorial
Missionary Church, 61115 State Rd. 15 Goshen. The family will be
holding a private burial prior to the 11:00 am memorial service on
Wednesday, May 23, also at the church. Services will be conducted
by Pastor Craig Garber. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorials may be given to Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of

We're so sorry to hear about Floyd's passing. I enjoyed working
with him for many years at Troyer's. He was always so pleasant &
fun to be around. Also enjoyed working with Carla & Marla for a
short time.  You are all in our thoughts & prayers.
