Felty W. Yoder
                                         August 21, 1929 -- July 20, 2016

Felty W. Yoder, 86, of Topeka, died at 7:35 pm on Wednesday, July 20, at his
residence. He was born on August 21, 1929 in Yoder, KS, to William D. and
Susie (Yoder) Yoder.  On November 15, 1951 in LaGrange County he married
Ruby Mae Lehman; survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are three
daughters, Carolyn (Orla W.) Yoder of Topeka, Kathy (Elmer) Yoder of
LaGrange, Rosemary (Freeman L.) Hochstetler of Wolcottville; son, Merle
(Dorothy) Yoder of Topeka; 18 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, two
great-great grandsons; four brothers, William (Lora) Yoder of Syracuse,
Albert (Rosa) Yoder of Topeka, David (Ida Mae) Yoder of Shipshewana, Merle
(Ottie) Yoder of Castalion Springs, TN; five sisters, Polly Fry of Fairview, MI,
Anna (Glen) Fry of Topeka, Vera Miller of Ligonier, Edna Miller of Topeka,
Ruby (Elmer) Byler of Millersburg; two sisters-in-law, Emma Yoder of Garnett,
KS, Carolyn Yoder of Topeka; brother-in-law, Alvin Keim of Millersburg. He
was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren, Ryan Matthew
Yoder and Cathy Jo Yoder, seven brothers, Daniel, Joseph, Herman, Amos,
Perry, Ora and Elmer, five sisters, Katie Cross, Sadie Summerlot, Betsy Fry,
Clara Slabach and Susanna Keim. He was a cashier at the Topeka Auction
Restaurant for 20 years and before that a carpenter and a farmer. He was a
member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on
Thursday July 21, and all day Friday, July 22, at the family's residence, 5965
S. 675 W., Topeka. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Saturday, July 23,
also at the family's residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop David H.
Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is handling arrangements.
